Stooly was born in 2017 in the minds of a young couple who wanted to be able to entertain friends and family without having to push the walls of their small apartment.

The living room stool: the unbeatable reference of the Stooly concept
To be able to welcome friends and family in complete comfort, we had to rethink our way of designing living room furniture. To do this, we started with the seats and invented the folding stool. Inspired by the origami method, thestool for living roomis robust thanks to its honeycomb structure. With this honeycomb shape, the stool can be folded in one movement to be stored without taking up space. Unfold (enjoy), close and store: it’s that simple!
In addition to being robust and functional, the living room stool is designer, it comes in several trendy colors that you will love to mix and match to create a room that reflects your image.
The living room stool is available in several diameters ranging from 35cm to 50cm. You are therefore completely free to use it as a decorative object, but also to complete your coffee table, as a bedside table or even - for the largest model - as a dining table.
A living room stool that can be made very small and respects the environment
When we imagined the concept of Stooly, we wanted to place our project in an ecological approach. Thus, the living room stool was designed from 100% recyclable cardboard. Thicker than paper, cardboard is often used for packaging. It is made from cellulose, a fiber extracted from wood. In France, we have noted that the recycling rate of cardboard is much higher than that of plastic (65% for cardboard compared to 26% for plastic waste. In addition, cardboard has the advantage of being able to be recycled up to about ten times: thanks to this, we can make packaging, shoe boxes and many other objects that we come across every day.
THEstool for living roomAlthough it is made of cardboard, it is nonetheless ultra robust. Cardboard, depending on how it is assembled, can indeed be extremely durable. For our seats, we chose the honeycomb structure which reinforces the rigidity of the cardboard by perfectly distributing the load that you place on it. Designed in this way, your Stooly folding stool can support a load of up to 300kg!
