What solution to the lack of space?
It was in 2017, with a young couple living in a small Parisian apartment, that the Stooly concept was born!
Loving to receive their loved ones, they faced a lack of space , an inevitable difficulty in a small home .
They then tried to rethink their furniture, starting with their seats...
Origami: the art of folding, the art of living better.
Looking for a practical, durable and stylish solution, they turned to the Origami technique.
Unfold your stool with the greatest ease and you will see a honeycomb structure appear, also called a honeycomb structure.
Then, close it in a few seconds, and you will understand that the beauty of its design is in its functionality .
A priority: solidity 💪🏿
Depending on how it is assembled, the strength of cardboard can be surprising!
This is why all Stooly furniture is designed based on a honeycomb structure! This folding technique reinforces the rigidity and solidity of the cardboard by distributing the load that you will place on it.
This is how, in addition to being light, the cardboard will be able to support a maximum weight of 300kg !

Cardboard, the solution to plastic
Cardboard, this piece a little thicker than paper, often used for packaging. Do you know his story? We tell it to you in a few words:
It is made from cellulose, it is a fiber extracted from wood. In France the cardboard recycling rate is 65% compared to only 26% for plastic waste.*
The advantage of cardboard is that it can be recycled up to ten times.
