Stooly was born in the minds of a young couple who were living in a small apartment and who wanted to be able to entertain friends and family without having to rethink the layout of the living room each time. Everything started from an observation: we live in small apartments, so our furniture must adapt by being more functional and practical. To offer you such a functional and aesthetic solution, we have combined the rigidity of cardboard with the solidity of a honeycomb structure inspired by the art of origami. This honeycomb structure offers such great strength that each folding stool can support a load of up to 300kg.
When we designed the Stooly stool, we chose a promising material: cardboard. With a much higher recycling rate than plastic, cardboard can be reused up to ten times to make new packaging or even decoration. So that thesmall folding stoolfits perfectly with our ecological approach, we have also chosen to donate one euro, for each seat purchased, to Reforest'Action. Thus, the Stooly stool makes it possible to plant trees in our French forests.
